About
It all started when…
I was a little girl and spent time with my Grandma Swihart in her garden beds. She taught me the plants’ names, which ones liked shade, and how to take cuttings to make more. When I was out of college and grandma’s farm was in my sales territory, I’d stop by in the afternoons and we’d walk her garden and yard and talk flowers. She was my flower lady and flowers were a shared love between us.
I have a degree in agribusiness economics and spent years working in production ag, but I have never been as excited to get my hands in the soil, as I have been since growing cut flowers of commercial quality. Because every flower I grow feels like a gift. Faces light up and there is laughter and happiness when you give someone flowers. And sharing that kind of joy and beauty feeds my soul like no vegetable ever could.
